Spring is fast approaching on Raymond Cape. Fortunately, the lake is still frozen over, allowing the 2 deer I just watched cross the ice, at the mouth of Camp Cove. An awesome sight!
With the melting snow and ice comes muddy driveways and parking spaces. We had this problem during the first few years of living in our lake home. While Muck boots helped keep our feet clean and dry this was NOT the permanent solution ๐
After considering options, we chose the most environmentally friendly (approved and recommended by the Portland Water District and DEP): crushed rock.
This solution has been in place now for several years and what used to be a muddy parking area every spring is now just another patch of pleasant looking area on our property. Notice the nice, clean look.
The good news is that this solution is not only environmentally friendly, but it is also simple, low cost and quick to implement!
We’ve already recommended this solution to multiple clients this spring, the first of which is scheduled to be implemented soon.
If you have the muddy driveway or parking space dilemma and would like pricing on a simple, low cost and quick solution, give us a call or text (207-370-4235) or email (Info@RaymondCapeWinterWatch.com).
p.s. – We have several of you on our schedule for Spring cleanup. If you’d like to get your Spring cleanup scheduled please contact us as outlined above. Also know, you’ll get another reminder from us soon ๐
