Given all the rain and snow we’ve had recently it is important to ensure our lake homes have adequate run-off / drainage paths. Otherwise, like (at least) one of our customers, it may result in a flooded basement. Fortunately, we identified this particular situation early, at which point we promptly engaged, cleared the water and dried out the basement. All, with no long term damage – because we caught it early!
In addition, we’ve received many calls for help with electrical and plumbing needs. In these situations we gladly share recommended contractors we’ve worked with to provide the necessary services. And, when necessary, we also provide site coordination (e.g., providing contractors access to the home, monitoring progress and confirming things are wrapped up per the homeowners requirements and expectations).
Finally, when we see something, we say (or do) something…
Recently, when checking our mail, we noticed a package addressed to one of our neighbors (who is presently not at their home away from home) which had been sitting on top of the community mailboxes – for days. Realizing that the package may be valuable, could be stolen and/or damaged by the weather, we gladly picked it up, notified the homeowner and delivered it to their home.
