While it has been a very mild winter, thus far, Raymond Cape Winter Watch is now in full swing. And, to share with our community the nature and breadth of services provided, we thought we’d provide just a couple of tales from this season (so far).
The first example is in direct alignment with our core offerings – providing a set of eyes and boots on the ground to perform external home / walk-around inspections.
After a windstorm, one of our team members was performing the weekly external, walk-around inspection on one of our customer’s home away from homes and noticed that a sizable tree had snapped off and was hanging in the branches. We promptly notified the owner who was able to have the tree taken completely down before it caused any property damage. This situation could have EASILY gone unnoticed, causing significant damage, had Raymond Cape Winter Watch not been monitoring the home.
The second example demonstrates the convenience and peace of mind Raymond Cape Winter Watch customers can expect in our relatively remote location.
Recently, one of our customers (a year-round resident) contacted us because their car was acting up. They suspected it “may” be related to moisture in the fuel. While we are NOT mechanics, we are a local resource in our remote (tip of Raymond Cape) location and were able to immediately drop-off a bottle of Heet / fuel additive, which seems to have done the trick, enabling her to feel confident she’d make an important appointment in the big city 🙂
